Surf @Water

Surf @Water is quickly approaching and we are excited for another awesome year. This year we are showcasing a diverse line up of short surf documentaries from around the globe. We are stoked to be showing a Great Lakes surfing documentary from filmmaker Ben Leitschuh.
Suits of Armor is a freshwater surf film about four hardy souls who call the frigid waters of Lake Michigan home. The film is a medium for sharing the stoke that drives all Great Lakes surfers to follow their passion. See this sub-culture through the eyes of the people who live it everyday.
Check out the links below for a tease and more info about Suits of Armor and filmmaker Ben Leitschuh.

My Personal Surfing Story by Chair John Suhar

Included below is a brief history of the Surfrider Foundation in addition to my personal connection to the Surfrider Foundation.

A little over 25 years ago three people in Malibu, California found out that their favorite wave was about to be destroyed. Think about that for a second.
